Trumpet students in my Studio are trained using the methods I have acquired over many years of Study and Performance at the highest levels. Performance Classes, Recitals, and an ongoing Performance Classes provide ample opportunity to grow musically outside of your School Band Program. Helping you to get started correctly is the most important job of a Trumpet Teacher, I have a lot of experience coaching both New and Older players through embouchure difficulties due to my own experiences, and feel that my experience in how to correctly approach the instrument physically is one of my strongest assets as a teacher. Many of my students are at the top of their sections in school and have gone on to enjoy playing into their college and adult lives.
In addition to my classical training I have enjoyed playing and teaching Jazz to my students as well. I have been performing in Jazz Clubs since I was 16 and can quickly get someone started on the road to improvisation. Using our newly renovated Studio we can learn and improve jazz/improv skills with our dedicated play along setup.
